Terrie was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer about 4 weeks ago. The doctors chose to start chemo last Tuesday, and she did well. But Thursdaymorning she had a small stroke and is now in the hospital.
We are waiting now to see what comes next. Once she is stable on her medicines, she will most likely spend a few weeks in rehab to help with her strength and the effects of the stroke. 
She is unable to have chemo while in rehab, so the amount of time it takes for her to regain her strength is delaying her cancer treatments.
