In the last 5 or 6 years with essential tremors, my condition has progressed to the point of difficulty with even simple daily tasks. Therefore, on July 24, 2020 I am having DBS (deep brain stimulation) surgery at Stanford Medical Center. I am excited for this new chapter and the reality of being able to function with steady hands!! Even though “brain surgery” may sound scary, this particular surgery only has a 1% failure rate at Stanford. I am confident in my doctors, and I have a deep faith God will be with me every moment. I love you always and appreciate your love, support, and prayers!
