The weekend of July 15 Terri started to lose feeling in her right leg.  Symptoms worsened to the point of Terri having to use a walker to get around.  During a visit to the ER in Mankato on Monday, an MRI revealed a tumor compressing against her spinal cord.  Terri underwent a very delicate neurosurgery on Tuesday to remove the tumor.  The 6 hour surgery went well and the tumor was removed.  Testing will be done to determine pathology of tumor, and we are hopeful it is non-cancerous.  Terri has feeling and can move her legs....awesome!  She does face a potentially long rehab journey, but Terri is in good spirits and determined to make a full recovery.  The next step will be neuro rehabilitation in Rochester for likely 2 weeks. We appreciate any and all thoughts and prayers.
We are thankful for Dr. Sharma and his surgical team!!!
