This all started when I found a lump doing a self breast examine at the end of July.  I had a mammogram August 4th followed by a lumpectomy on August 18th, it didn't appear to be cancerous so I was not overly worried.  I got the results August 24th and the floor fell out from under me!  I will undergo a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction followed by chemo.  Right now I am getting myself ready for this fight.  Knowing that I am surrounded by people who love and support me is comforting.
