Teresa Wallace

Teresa was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer.  She is undergoing more tests and scans in the upcoming weeks.  Kevin and Teresa have met with a great group of doctors in Anchorage at Providence and Katmai Oncology.  They are comfortable with the doctors and the treatment plan they are working on getting set up.  Teresa will go in tomorrow to get her pic line.  Next week she will have a PET scan and brain scan.  Her spirits are good and they are both focusing on what she needs to do to beat this cancer.   They both appreciate all the love and support via phone calls, texts, emails and visits.  Teresa is doing her best to respond to them all.  She told me she WILL  respond to each and every one eventually but is also working on trying to get rest.  Please keep the support and love coming.  Please feel free to write messages on this site and follow this site so we can do one update for all to see and read.  This will be easier for Kevin and Teresa once she starts her chemo treatment.  We are not sure what day she will have her first chemo but will keep you all up to date as much as we can.  The doctors are waiting on her DNA test to come back to make sure they mix up the right chemo cocktail.  Please Keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.  Thank you.
