For more than 20 years, Teresa has battled health issues.  In June 2008 she had her first liver transplant caused by a disease called      Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis better known as PSC.  In April 2010, Teresa gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Liam Henry Dean Hoff. Liam is and will always be Teresa's pride and joy.  In the summer of 2017, Teresa’s doctors at Mayo noticed something didn’t look quite right.  In the fall 2017, she was brought in for additional testing.  This testing concluded that PSC had returned to her new liver and had progressed enough that she was eligible for a second transplant. On December 28, 2017, a new liver became available affording her the opportunity to get a new lease on life.  In January 2022, Teresa came down with a severe CMV infection that left her hospitalized for nearly 40 days. She was put on a Life Flight jet and transferred to Mayo Clinic where it became evident that the PSC along with autoimmune hepatitis had affected the liver to the point she needed to be listed for her 3rd transplant. Fast forward to today, July 24th, 2023,, Teresa received the call for a 3rd  liver,  even though she was pretty far down the list. What was discovered was that the liver that was available would fit her body size perfectly and several others ahead of her were skipped over because this liver would not be the perfect fit. For this reason this liver has been called many things. Among them Goldilocks because it's just right and cinderella because well...if the shoe fits wear it! Right? This site is designed to keep all of you--our friends and family who we value so much--updated on Teresa's recovery from her third  liver transplant.  Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers.  We are so very humbled.  Brad, Teresa, and Liam Hoff
