I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Breast Cancer on May 22nd 2017, after my very first mammogram at 40 revealed a 1.5 CM mass in my right breast as well as DCIS. Following a lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node biopsy, my cancer was upgraded to a stage 2 diagnosis due to involvement of one lymph node.

Currently, I am expected to start 4 bi-weekly cycles of A/C Chemo followed by 4 bi-weekly cycles of Taxol. Then radiation therapy and 5 to 10 years of Tamoxifen hormone therapy.
