Chris awoke Saturday morning May 6th to find Teresa on the floor unresponsive. He called 911 and she was taken to the hospital where Chris was told she had a stroke. He would come to find that she has a brain aneurysm on the front left side of her brain. The pressure is pushing on her brain in the area that serves your speech. She can not currently talk. On Saturday and Sunday, she was able to move both arms and both legs, fingers and toes wiggled and she was awake. Since then, the pressure has not receded nor has it increased. They are playing a "wait and see" game. She is currently in St. Vincent Hospital on West 86th Street in the ICU room 2914. They now have her on a ventilator (to assist the breathing she is doing on her own), with a feeding tube in her throat. She has not been awake since Monday. Her vitals are still good but with no changes, the doctors still do not have a plan of action. Please keep Chris and Teresa in your prayers.
