In early December, Terry began her health journey that has led to her upcoming surgery on January 31st. She has been diagnosed with a carcinoid tumor in her right lung. The good news is that all tests indicate no evidence of cancer anywhere else in her body. All her care providers have been thorough, swift and kind. She is especially pleased with the surgeon and the team at Stanford who will be performing the operation. Surgery will remove the tumor and much of her right lung. She is expected to be in the hospital for about 4 days before heading home to continue recovering. As we all know, she is positive, strong, ready to conquer this cancer and get back to feeling well.
We are all extremely thankful for the many positive aspects of her condition and the prognosis once her tumor has been removed. We are also very appreciative of everyone’s thoughts, prayers, messages, calls and various forms of support. We are looking forward to the rest of 2018 being a healthy and happy year for everyone!
