Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.
Well, after many of you that have seen me and wondered why my walking has been less energetic than when teaching or the travels since; here’s my revelation. While in New Zealand last spring, I hurt my foot in a silly accident, but couldn’t get over limping even by summer. Other difficulties were appearing, and increasing medical visits for massages, chiropractic, and neurology led to a ton of blood, MRI, and EMG tests, and finally brought me to Spokane’s Rockwood Neurology Clinic in late November, and a diagnosis of ALS.
My spirit is strong and I feel good! I have great people in my life who continue to inspire me, and I love and appreciate that support that sustains me. I will be in touch periodically through this venue.
