Theodore (Ted) Thomas Ted Thomas

Dear all,

Our dear friend and colleague, Ted Thomas, suffered a serious heart attack late Friday afternoon, as you must know by now.  He is in stable, but critical condition at Saint Peter's Hospital in Olympia, Washington.  He is currently not in a position to receive visitors, flowers, or cards, but all of these things will be welcome later as his condition improves.  We ask that people refrain from coming to the hospital at this time.  Carolyn is in close contact with Ted's care-giving team and his family and is committed to ensuring that updates are posted here as information becomes available.  She is, as you might expect, overwhelmed and exhausted, but appreciates all of the care and concern being expressed by our wonderful community of people who care for Ted.
