Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

On November 27th Ted was diagnosed with AML,  Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He has been hospitalized at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha since then. He has suffered with wounds on his arms not healing and trouble swallowing and breathing. The fine doctors here realized it was a reaction to medication. After several days Ted improved and was taken off the ventilator. Yesterday, December 12, he again struggled  with breathing, so he is back on a breathing tube.  This morning he had a procedure to put the feeding tube directly into his stomach.  He is now sedated and resting. Hopefully this will help him gain some strength so the doctors can start chemo tomorrow or Saturday.
Please pray for the wisdom of the medical team, for healing, and for peace and strength for Ted and Judy, too.
Judy is doing well, but would prefer not to answer phone calls or texts.
Please refer all questions and comments through this page.
Thank you for your encouragement and prayers!
