In August of 2020, Linda and Terry sat waiting at the doctors office for some minor test results, in which symptoms were first thought to be a probable virus which was causing a cough for Terry. Their lives were changed forever when the doctor walked into the room to say there were some tests that were worrisome.  From that day forward and the days following, our family received the news that no family ever wants to hear: our Dad, Father-In-Law, Grandpa, Husband, Brother, Uncle, Friend....had Stage 4 Cancer. How can this be we all asked ourselves,  he's always been so healthy, so strong; the rock of our family.

For the last 12 months, the hero of our family has battled this disease with the strength of an army on the battlefield. He has faced his cancer
diagnosis head on and throughout it all kept his family and his faith at the center of everything he has done.
For the past 2 weeks, Terry has endured being in the hospital - tests, procedures, pokes and situations we can all only pray to never have to face - and through it all, his grace, love and kindness have never wavered.

The time has now come for Dad to come home to rest in comfort back home in Elmore with Mom. For him to come home to be with all of us, his family and friends, to write his final chapter in his own way. Throughout the remaining time we have here on earth with our amazing Dad, who is our pillar of strength, we will do what Dad has always taught us to do in good times and in hard times; honor our Lord and trust in his goodness and love.
