This is going to be a little difficult for me to talk about, but I think it's important to raise awareness if anyone else feels like they may be experiencing something similar to what I felt.  Recently, I'd been having lower abdominal pain and I figured it was just endometriosis, or I thought it would go away on it's own.  Unfortunately we discovered that I have Ovarian Cancer.  I recently returned home from the hospital after having a full hysterectomy, and I thought it would be important to share my journey/experiences.  Beginning March 25, I will start with my first round of 6 chemo treatments.  I am staying positive, and I'm just so happy that I have such a loving family supporting me.  Please, if you feel something is not right, don't wait to go see the doctor.  My oncologist feels that my cancer has been growing at least a year.  I wish I hadn't waited so long to get checked out.  Anyway, I will be okay, and we will keep you posted with my medical updates on this site.  Thank you for all the love and support coming my way.
