Welcome to Tara's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Tara was diagnosed with breast cancer on Monday, July 13, 2020. Tara's will start Chemotherapy every 3 weeks for 4-6 sessions. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers. Tara is a fighter and will get through this journey, however your support and prayers are very appreciated. Please visit the "Ways to Help" tab if you would like to provide a meal or a gift card for a meal to Tara and her family. Meals will be especially helpful once Tara starts chemotherapy.

Update: Thank you to everyone for your support, help and encouraging words! We are rocking our way through chemo and if all goes as scheduled Tara will have her last session on Nov. 19th. We will then have an MRI to determine how much the chemo has shrunk the tumors and proceed with surgery most likely right after Christmas. We continue to appreciate and need all the help and prayers we can get through these next few months as surgery will mean Tara is down for multiple weeks and not able to lift or help much around the house. At this time we have stoped the meal train because the risk of COVID is too much risk this close to the end of chemo. We will be restarting it once chemo is done and Tara regains some of her immune systems strength to help the family get through surgery! Thank you all for continuing to keep our family in mind!
