Sophie is an extraordinary 10yr old girl who was born with an extremely rare congenital heart disease called Anomalous Aortic Origin of the Left Coronary Artery or AAOCA for short. Her heart condition was “accidentally” discovered while trying to treat her other 2 extremely rare conditions Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (SJIA) and Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) while we are believing God for a miracle and continue to believe He has a greater purpose behind all this we are convinced nothing accidentally happens. In fact Sophie’s CHD/AAOCA was discovered on TIME! A lot of people know they have this rare condition after a heart attack or after they deceased but my baby girl is so special to the Lord we discovered this early in age. Many specialists say she wouldn’t have made it past 20 yrs but here we are at 10yrs old with so much more to explore and live and with a surgery date ahead of us. August 2nd is her surgery date and although this is a very complex surgery we know Jesus in control.
