In January of 2020, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. By the end of the month, I had surgery to remove the lump and am now preparing for a year of treatment. Although my cancer has not spread to my lymph nodes, it is the type to recur so I have a challenging year of strong chemo/radiation ahead of me. The good news is that my prognosis is excellent. I am full of hope and comforted by the compassion and empathy you are showing me. I am using this blog to keep you in the loop since I may not be feeling well enough to contact everyone as changes occur.
