You might have heard she was in a serious bike accident yesterday. She suffered a head trauma, broken left shoulder and broken ribs.
Overall a good night, her pupils are the same which is a great sign of no more bleeding on the brain. She is recalling the location, date and responding to commands on lifting her parts she can lift. They rotated her twice during the night which she said some choice "words" about, at one point she asked why her back hurt and the nurse said do you remember what happen and she said "softball?" So she doesn't remember anything of the bike ride - the nurse said this is common. Her cat scan came back as no change which is good. We are at John Muir in ICU and they are keeping her quiet with no visitors and lots of pain relief. She is absorbing a lot of fluids and complains of being hot - again all good signs of healing. We will try to send another update again tomorrow.
