On January 30, 2015, Nick was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome, or MDS. Since that time, he's received incredible medical care including chemotherapy at Duke, traveled to MD Anderson in Houston for an immunotherapy clinical trial, and in true Nick Dombalis fashion, stayed upbeat and optimistic. His outlook is due in no small part to the wonderful friends and family surrounding him with love and support.
