Eric Chandler Landes went to be with his heavenly father on Monday March 12, 2018 at the age of 33. After suffering a stroke early Saturday morning he fought for 3 days then God ushered him into Heaven. From his birth in Sellersville, PA on July 15, 1984 he remained a lifelong area resident of Franconia Township.
After attending Christopher Dock HS, he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and work at the family business, IT Landes. He pursued his passion here and his hard work never wavered.
Eric will be forever remembered by his amazing wife and best friend Mikaela and his 3 children Graham, Isaiah, and Brecken. Eric will also be remembered by his parents, Michael and Diane Landes, by his brothers families, Austin and Julie along with their children Anna and Lily Landes, Pat and Amanda and their children Wesley, Abby and Eli Landes, and by his many uncles, aunts and cousins.
God had his own timing and decided to take Eric after he spent one more afternoon focusing on his kids. After one more getaway with his wife. After the Eagles won the Super Bowl.
In lieu of flowers, please hunt more often. Play with your kids. Be brave. Take amazing vacations. Eat wings. Be an incredible husband, father, son, brother, friend. Eric embodied these, and he would have wanted you to live no other way.
A celebration of Eric’s life will be on March 24th at 10:00 am with a reception to follow immediately at the church. Calvary Church, 820 Route 113 Souderton, PA 18964. Dress like a hunter. Dress like an Eagles fan. Dress like you’re going to wing night. Dress however you want…because Eric would have wanted you to dress no other way.
The Eric Landes Memorial Fund has been established to assist Micky, Graham, Isaiah, and Brecken. This incredible family is beginning to embark on a new chapter in life and any financial support would be treasured by these 4 amazing people. 100% of the donations will go directly to the family and will assist in this time of uncertainty. Today, Eric saw his first deer in heaven and is running over to God excited to tell him about the 12 pointer. God smiles and looks down at all of Eric’s family and friends with a smirk. We ALL know it wasn’t that big of a rack.
