I am writing a standard letter to all my gals to let you know I've been diagnosed with Breast Cancer . It is Stage 2A. Meaning caught early , growing slowly, one small ( under 2 c ) tumor in left breast and in the lymphnode . That's the part that's not great and is leading to the treatment plan .
My theory is "your reproductive system brings forth life then attempts to kill you "
So I am now embarking on my journey to kick its ass .
I ask for healing prayers , prayers for wise counsel and doctors , and prayers for my family.
Right now the treatment plan is : Chemo every 3 weeks starting this Thursday for 4 times and then Followed by surgery to remove the lymph-node (s) and cancer in breast , possibly lumpectomy or mastectomy , reconstructive surgery , Radiation and hormone therapy .
So next 6 months or so will be a wild ride but I have great support and FAITH to carry me thru.
Now some advice : get your mammograms every year . I did and this is what showed up . Last year normal , this year ... not so much ! I am in awe of how they even found it . My care thus far has been very good and I anticipate it will continue .
So please storm Heaven with your prayers on my and my family's behalf . I believe it will make a difference . Thank you and Love you all !
