Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated on Jill's progress in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
Jill had been on and off sick for a few months starting at the end of 2016 with bronchitis, random fever/chills, but just attributed it to her lupus and random illness. On March 11, 2017, Jill went to urgent care because she wasn't feeling well. They immediately sent her over to the hospital because her heart rate was in the 140s. Jill was in the hospital for 10 days due to being put through a battery of tests to find answers. It was after a bone marrow test that she was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, stage 4. Luckily, Hodgkin's is very treatable and for this type of cancer stage 4 simply means that the cancer was found in several places. We feel very hopeful for Jill's recovery and for a great oncologist.
The love and support from friends, family, co-workers, and everyone has been amazing. It's through the power of prayer that we've gotten this far and believe that faith and prayer will see us through until the end.
