Welcome to our CaringBridge site for Jake. We've created it to keep friends and family updated on his medical status. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most. Jake was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2011 and developed metastatic disease in 2013 to the liver and more recently the lungs.  Jake has undergone multiple surgeries, greater than 100 chemotherapy treatments, countless radiation treatments, along with many other treatments, therapies, and miscellaneous healing processes.  
Through all the pokes, probing, pain and nausea the one thing about Jake that never fails is his sense of humor.  Although his daily Facebook statuses are becoming more of a weekly update, they are still full of...Jake. 😊
Jake is a warrior.  His battle is daily but his army is many.  Jake is so loved.
