Towards the end of July, Jeannine was diagnosed with lobular breast cancer. It was a shock to us all, and instead of cruising through the rest of our summer, we were thrown into a whirlwind of appointments, tests, procedures, and consultations. While we learned way too much about this awful disease, Jeannine has an amazing team of doctors in place to help her fight…and beat…cancer. 


It is also hard to put in to words the outpouring of love and support that we have felt and experienced from family and friends. Your kindness, thoughts, prayers, and words of encouragement are both awe-inspiring and humbling, and we are incredibly grateful for everything. 


I figured this would be the easiest way to keep everyone posted as Jeannine goes through her journey. I’m sure many of you could use a few less text messages, and this will let you check out any updates when it is convenient for you. However, always feel free to reach out by text when you feel like it. It definitely brings a smile to our faces.
