Family and friends...On June 29th  Dr. Solaiman discovered a mass on Harry’s left kidney.  He was having pain from a kidney stone which prompted him to go to the doctor. Thank you God for the stone to find the mass.  So our MD sent him to Dr. Pumphrey a urologist in Fort Worth and they did another scan with contrast to confirm that he did have a mass on his kidney. We sat in the parking lot scared and crying after we received the news. Harry comes home looking up all kinds of things about renal cancer and also started looking at care from UTSW in Dallas. He found a doctor whose name is Dr. Jeffrey Cadeddu. Harry passed the large stone and ended up not having to have it surgically removed from Dr. Margaret Pearle (associate of Dr. Cadeddu) a few weeks ago and they left a small stone in his left kidney. So now after visiting with Dr. Cadeddu at UTSW the plan is for him to do a Laparoscopy surgical partial nephrectomy on August 27th. Our prayer is that he can remove about thirty percent of his kidney so that he can keep using it. Please pray for Harry, me, Kelli, Kendall, and Ben. Our faith is bigger than our fear and we all know the great physician. Encouragement is what we need at this time and would greatly appreciate it!! I will do my best to use this for updates.
