Donnie Brown Team DAB

Welcome to Team DAB.  We've created it to keep friends and family updated. 

As as many of you know, Donnie had an accident at his pool on Friday the 8th and broke his neck.  He is currently in the ICU at Palmetto Richland and is making steady progress.  He had a tracheotomy on Tuesday that has made him much more comfortable and better able to communicate.  It will also help him be able to breathe quicker on his own and he has already taken a few breathes.  He looks great!!  

Currently Donnie can shrug his shoulders, but that's all the movement he has now.  We are working to get him transferred to The Shepherd Center in Atlanta as soon as possible. It is a world class spinal rehabilitation center and they do amazing things!  

Janna, Lana and family have been so thankful for all the many prayers, calls, hospital visits and can feel the love that surrounds them.
