Hi Everyone! Allie here :) This page was started to keep everyone up to date on our dad! As most of you may know my dad has battled a rare liver disease for the past 10+ years. January 12th of this year he had some complications due to his liver and was taken to SBLHC here in our home town. From there he was taken to St. Louis University hospital by helicopter, as that is where his whole liver team is, and remains there still. He was placed on the liver transplant list at the end of January. Since then they have found an infection, so they needed to just place his name on "pause" on the list. As soon as they can get the infection cleared his name will be activated once again!!! The doctors and nurses at SLU are amazing, and we are blessed to have them working continually to get dad better! We sure have appreciated all the prayers from friends and family during this time. We have huge faith in God, and know he will carry us through this, and more importantly dad through all of this! Please continue praying for dad and please leave some POSITIVE and encouraging words on here for him to read to boost his spirits. I will update everyone weekly!
