Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.

Isabel was diagnosed with Stage 4 Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma on Thursday, April 20, 2017, just 10 days shy of her 13th birthday.  As of now, she will be receiving all her care in Amarillo. If and when the time comes for surgery, we might have to travel. We are looking at about 54 weeks of treatment, but that all depends on how well she responds to the chemo. She will also undergo 6 weeks of radiation, which could possibly start on the 27th.

We have started a go fund me page to help our family with expenses as we have taken time off from work to care for her and our other children. Even if you cannot help financially, your thoughts and prayers will be very much appreciated, as well as sharing her story and getting the word out.
