It is still quite shocking to our entire family that this diagnosis came about just a few weeks ago. AJ was diagnosed in late May with an aggressive, triple negative form of breast cancer and we are still waiting to determine the origin. Luckily, we believe that it was caught early because it is currently stage 1. Since then, it's been like we have been moving in crisis mode as she moves forward with a double mastectomy/reconstruction on June 15th. Chemotherapy is planned for the next step. But along this journey, we will all be there to support and encourage her as she beats this beast!
AJ is 39 years old . AJ is a WONDERFUL mother of two young boys (Christian - age 4 and Sebastian - age 1). AJ is the LOVING wife of 4 years to George. AJ is the YOUNGEST child of Ben and Naty. AJ is the FABULOUS sister of Vivian/Kevin and Victor. AJ is the AWESOME auntie to two nephews (Tristan - age 9 and Lukas - age 6). AJ is the DEVOTED doctor/co-worker. AJ is a FAITHFUL friend. AJ is a COURAGEOUS woman. AJ is a BLESSING to have in our lives.
