Yes, Rose is that daughter, sister, friend, wife, and mother who smiles at life. She has a way of drawing anyone who knows her closer. Many of us find that when we are with her we do not want the time to close. Just being with her makes you smile and know that life is good:)
Rose has triple negative breast cancer. She had a mastectomy last month but cancer was also found in her lymph nodes. Technically, the cancer is stage 2B, which means the tumor is between the 2 and 5 centimeters and has spread to less than four axillary lymph nodes.
There have been tears, but Rose’s sense of humor and sunny disposition have carried her thus far. Rose will be facing chemotherapy for the next few months. This will be followed by radiation therapy. To know Rose is to know that she will not only survive this, she will triumph!
