I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer on January 26th. It has metastasized to my liver and my oncologist informed me that there is no cure. Chemotherapy may prolong my life, but surgery or radiation is not an option. I was given two choices with chemotherapy and chose FOLFIRINOX which my oncologist stated that it could prolong my life 11-12 months or hopefully longer. The regimen is Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's on a bi-weekly basis for the next 6 months. I consider my self fortunate to be strong enough to do chemo therapy.
