On Sunday, July 24th, our beloved daughter, sister, wife & mother, Taunya, suffered a cerebral aneurysm while enjoying the day boating.  Thanks to the quick and thoughtful actions of dear friends Amy & Joel, she got the emergency care she needed quickly.  Taunya has endured several brain surgeries, including drains to release pressure, a coil to stop the hemorrhage and a surgery to remove a portion of her skull to relieve a build up of fluids and pressure on her brain.  Through it all, her family has committed to never leave her side, and has assigned someone to stay with her each and every step of the way.  From basic blood draws and blood pressure checks, to risky surgeries and rigorous therapies, one of us is there to communicate with her doctors and nurses, hold her hand or simply crack a joke (or laugh at Taunya' s jokes!) to keep a smile on her face.  We hope to use this site to stay in contact with the so many wonderful friends and family who have expressed their concerns and interest in helping.  Please check back for daily updates and information on how you can help.    It is a long road, but Taunya is unbelievably determined and strong!   Thank you all for your love and support!
