Hello to you, Tara's amazing friends & family! This site is to keep everyone updated on the recent health challenge our beloved Tara is facing. We are grateful for your willingness to help support her and to stay connected during this time when she will need us. We will post updates using the "Journal," but for now, you can go to "Ways to Help" to access the "Planner" with some specific asks as well as the GoFundMe site to offer financial support. Tara encourages you to use this site to send supporting notes to Tara through the "Well Wishes" page so she can appreciate and hold onto them in once centralized place. Please click the "Follow" button to the right on the bar above to get notifications and to check back, knowing that this site will be updated as new information and needs arise.
We so appreciate your love and support. Thank you for being here.
- Tara's Care Team                                                                                                                                                                                       Click "Read More" for backstory and some details on support . . .

Backstory:
Since the late in the fall of 2020, Tara has been experiencing problems with vision, balance, memory, and more. Reading, driving, and other day-to-day tasks have become increasingly challenging for her. Over these last several weeks, things have started to move quickly. After many different tests, Tara's medical team found a tumor in her brain that is causing these symptoms. Her next steps are to remove the tumor, starting with surgery. During this operation, the medical team will learn more about the mass and decide on the next steps leading to recovery and healing.

A Note about Desired Support:

**Please note that the "Tributes" feature is a contribution to the CaringBridge site and will not go to Tara. The GoFundMe to donate to Tara's fundraiser can be found at: https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-taras-healing (https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-taras-healing )

      - All edible treats for Tara should be vegan and low/no chemicals and preservatives. She is wishing for a lot of healing & nutritious vegan soups!
