Tanya Breza

Tanya is 35 years old, a wife, and mother of three young children. Bentley (7), Jace (4), and Ella (1).  In late September a small lump was found durning an annual exam. It was believed to be a blocked milk duck and seemed to be of no concern to the provider. Around Thanksgiving Tanya noticed the mass had grown in size. Over the next few weeks the mass grew rapidly, it was approximately the size of a softball.  With growing concern a mammogram and ultra sound were ordered and completed on Dec. 28th, 2020. Durning that visit an enlarged lymph node was found raising more concerns. A biopsy procedure was immediately completed on both masses. Tanya received a phone call Dec. 30th stating both masses were cancerous. January 8th, 2021 a PET scan and visit with Oncology was scheduled. Durning this visit they found additional lymph nodes in the clavicle area that were of concern. Her final prognosis was stage 3 HER2 Positive Breast Cancer.
