Welcome to Tamra Rose’s website. We are using it to keep everyone updated in one place. Most of you know that her breast cancer recently came back and spread to her lungs as well as a small spot in her brain. Fortunately she had a very specialized radiation treatment on Friday and it ZAPPED the small spot!
Tamra Rose had her first chemo infusion for the recurrence on Wednesday (12/12/18). During that infusion she developed a very high fever and was subsequently taken to the ER. Upon examination it was determined she had full blown pneumonia and was then admitted to the ICU. She is now being treated for the pneumonia but will likely be in the hospital for possibly 2 weeks while she recovers. Unfortunately the pneumonia was caught rather late.
Understandably she is scared and does not want to be left alone in the hospital! As a result, a group of us are signing up for shifts to stay w her. This way we can comfort, reassure and advocate for her as needed. If you think you can take a shift, please sign up on the calendar on this site!
