Tammy Malone Tammy, beating cancer!!!

Here is where this story starts, but it certainly is not where it ends.....
June 2017-Tammy developed right sided discomfort and thought she tweaked a muscle after doing Yoga. X-ray done at this time.
July 21st weekend-Tammy was rocking the limbo at the Ligda family reunion.
Upon return, the right sided discomfort progressed to low level pain which prompted her doctor to order CT scan which to everyone's shock revealed 2 tumors in her pancreas. The CT scan also showed that tumors were present in the liver as well as in close proximity to the spleen. Additionally, multiple blood clots we seen in the lungs.
August 1, 2017-Tammy had been experiencing shortness of breath and the pain was increasing. She was managing her symptoms at home.
August 9, 2017-Developed severe chest pain and significant shortness of breath which prompted her to go to the ER at Baylor and was
admitted for treatment.
At this writing, August 11, 2017 Treatment continues and plans are being developed to get Tammy stable to begin the biggest fight of her life as she battles this monster of a disease, cancer.
This Caring Bridge web site has been created so that all of Tammy's family and friends are updated on what is going on AND to provide an
opportunity for folks to post positive and encouraging messages to Tammy.  We are asking that everyone pray like crazy so that she will win this race!!
