On July 10th, 2021 our mom was admitted to Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN and received the devastating news that she has been diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia), a rare yet aggressive type of cancer that affects the blood cells and bone marrow. She has since undergone chemotherapy, radiation and a stem-cell transplant (December 2021). Follow along for more updates.
