Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
Sylvia fell in her apartment early Sunday morning September 4th around 12:15 am. She tried to pull herself up on the recliner chair and it tipped over on her. She sustained a severe distal femur fracture close to the left knee. She was transported to the Butte hospital  by ambulance on Monday September 5th to be attended to by Dr. Blavatsky who did her original knee replacements and is an excellent surgeon and fine, respectful, and caring man.
Sylvia will have surgery this afternoon, Tuesday, September 6th. She is stable at this time and being kept comfortable with IV pain medications. The staff and doctors have all been very kind and caring.
