Sydney Smith

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using this site to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time as Sydney, and we prepare to go back for more surgeries in Colorado.  We will leave for Boulder following homecoming on Oct. 1 and Sydney will have her first surgery to her right side to repair a labrum tear on October 2 at 11:15.  She will have a week out patient rehabilitation of the labrum and then go in for the PAO surgery for hip dysplasia on Oct 9 at 7:15.  If you were following the surgeries in the spring you may remember how this will work.  We expect to be in the hospital for 5-6 days post surgery and return to our apartment in Colorado sometime around Oct.  14.  We are hoping things go smoothly again and we can return home around October 18  & 19 to watch Lexi run in her state qualifying meet. 

 We will be staying at 11429 King Way Westminster CO 80031-2256 between surgeries, Oct 2 to 8 & after release from the hospital Oct. 15-18.  We will be in the hospital  Oct 9-15 or so at Boulder Community Foothills Hospital 4747 Arapahoe Ave. Boulder Colorado 80303.  Sydney is trying to look past these surgeries to when she can focus on rehabilitation and a normal high school experience.  Thank you once again for visiting this site and  for your support of Sydney and our family.
