Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.

Sydney Reece Bjornberg is a vibrant beautiful sweet 11 year old, who is undergoing treatment for a brain tumor which was diagnosed on May 21, 2012.  Michelle and Steve are her Mom and Dad and Nicholas is her little brother, 9, and Kona is her dog, 13.  She is surrounded by a loving network of family and friends and we know in our hearts and believe that she will beat this. With your love and support and prayers, she will!

Thanks to our good friend Amber in helping us set up this page. I know we have a lot of friends that don't have any idea what is going on, so I will add some previous journal entries over the next few nights so you can catch up. This is a great way to keep everyone informed, and Michelle and I need to focus our energy on Sydney and Nick over the upcoming weeks - and we just don't have time to personally speak with everyone. We want to keep our lives as normal as possible as we work getting rid of this tumor.
