Suzanne Brown Suzi's Battle 2016

On August, 12th 2016 I thought our world was falling apart. I was admitted to the hospital on the 5th with abdominal pain, fever, blackout spells & vomiting.  With many test ran and many days in the hospital we were told I had "Renal Cell Carcinoma" Papillary Type ..... Aka.. Kidney Cancer.....The doctor is recommending partial but it's going to be left up to us. He seems to think with my age and diabetes this would be best if possible. He has seen where he had to take the whole kidney once he got in. It is stage one. They're going to do a pet scan to make sure it's no where else. There is always a risk of the cancer returning in other areas. He can't guarantee that won't happen. Pet scan scheduled for Monday morning Aug. 29th. As of now.....Surgery is scheduled for Tuesday September 27th.
