Hello, I’m Jackie Susie’s sister as most of you know Susie’s been battling CML (chronic myeloid leukemia) over the past 2 years. She had been doing great and was close to remission but one day discovered the side of her head was hurting and a bulging eye. so after numerous visits to the ER we have discovered she has a brain tumor behind her eye pushing on her optic nerve causing her eye pain and blurry vision and also pain on the side of her head. They discovered it is meningioma tumor. The neurosurgeon is 95% sure it’s benign but we will not know until after surgery when they send it to the Pathologist. So June 8th she will be under going surgery to remove the tumor. I thought after numerous texts that this would be a great way to keep everybody in touch! It would be nice to have you all send positive and uplifting messages to Suzie as it is a hard time for our family and especially Suzie’s daughter Hailey.
