Welcome to my CaringBridge website. I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse -- many, many years of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse at the hands of my grandfather who was supposed to love me and take care of me. He did not. Furthermore, he convinced me that I was the bad one and that he could help "protect" me as long as I did what he told me to do.
I cannot convey to you how hard it is to break free from years and years of brainwashing. He died in 1976 -- yes 41 years ago; yet, the "truths" he implanted are so, so hard to combat.
