Hello all!

I've created this page to update everyone on the health and current state of progress with my mother, Susan Peacock, who has recently suffered left side paralysis and communication difficulties as a result of a stroke.

Many of you know her from Mountain Empire, or as my mother from when I was going to Science Hill. The past few months have been very trying. Her long term health issues finally culminated in a set of almost back to back strokes. The first resulted in loss of movement in her left foot, the second loss of movement of her left arm and leg.

As far as progress is concerned, she is recovering slowly but surely. The left side is most likely not going to recover, but she is increasing her ability to compensate with her right.

My boyfriend and I, being the closest family, are in the process of moving her to Clarksville for long term care. This is resulting in a necessary, but costly, rush to take care of her belongings, as well as some of my grandmother's belongings, and get her transferred as quickly as possible.

If you are able to visit her, I feel that would mean the world to her. Please check below or contact me for information. Also, if you are able to provide new clothes for her transition or a couch for me to crash on as I travel back and forth from Clarksville to Johnson City, any little thing helps.

Below there is a link to a gofundme page. Please feel free to, but not obligated, to donate. Any and all support is welcome, be it just positive thoughts and nothing else!!

I will try and post updates as I can.

Please comment and let her know you are thinking about her! Once we have her transferred to Clarksville, we will work on getting her reconnected to the internet and social media so she is able to thank and interact with all you lovely people!!!
