Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. 
I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, breast cancer, on July 12, 2017, after finding a lump two weeks earlier. My treatment plan will likely include 6 months of chemo then surgery. The diagnosis came as a surprise since we had no family history and I had a clean scan in December. I feel very fortunate to have caught this in the early stages, and have been told there is a high success rate in treating others with my diagnosis.
As a stay-at-home mom, I'm used to caring for the needs of everyone in my family. I'll now need to rely heavily on my family and friends for a successful outcome. We'll appreciate your support and encouragement.
