Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. As most of you know, our journey began with visits to Dr. Pittman, our primary doctor, in mid-April when Susan was feeling bloated and having trouble sleeping. In the span of a couple of weeks and several tests, the outcome is ovarian cancer. The general treatment plan is for surgery on 5/16 followed by chemo. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Many of our sweet friends and family, who live in Memphis and out of town, have asked how they can help care for my mom and dad during these next 6 months. After some discussion and brainstorming, they have decided that restaurant gift cards would be really helpful. Due to the chemo treatments, my mom's taste buds are going to be altered a little, so each day we won't know what will taste best to her. This would also help my dad tremendously so he could pick dinner up on his way home from work. Jen and I want to thank you for loving on them so well. We are so thankful!
