Hi! On May 6th, I found out that my breast cancer had returned. I have invasive ductile carcinoma in my left breast (again!!!!). It is of the ER+/HER2- variety, which is the same type I had previously. In the intervening month, I have had a series of tests to determine if the recurrence is localized (the best case scenario) or if it had metastasized (the worst case scenario).
