Simon Zak SupportSimonFightcancer

Simon Zak is our lovely 4 y.o. boy who , like all kids of his age,  enjoys playing  with other children, and watches  his favorite shows (PJ Masks, Paw Patrol, Blaze and Monster Machines, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and many others. ) On November 28 , 2016  life came to a sudden halt when our Simon was diagnosed with Rhabdomysarcoma , a rare form of pediatric cancers. It was shocking and devastating news for us, Simon's parents, relatives, and friends. For the first few days we were scared .  Nonetheless,  after being consulted  by a great team of oncologists and other specialists at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite Hospital (https://www.choa.org/scottishrite), Svetlana and Yuri, the parents, keep strong hope for the right cure and greater chances of surviving this decease.  Simon has undergone several tests and received his chemotherapy during his first two weeks at Children's. And Simon is due for multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation for the next ten to twelve months. Medical appointments, illnesses, treatments are becoming fairly normal events for our family. Our boy is too little yet to understand how serious this diagnosis has become a threat to his health.  Simon does not see his disability but rather see his parents surrounding him with smiles and hopes.  As months go by and treatments produce positive results ( as we all pray and hope for ) we will teach our boy to be strong and persevere his fight for cure.

Please join us to help our family to fight for Simon's survival. WE KNOW YOUR SUPPORT AND PRAYERS WILL BE ANSWERED. YOU ARE SUPPORTING THE FIGHTER AND ADMIRING SURVIVOR.

P.S. Very little progress has been made for sarcomas in the past decade. That’s why a portion of your donation will be funded by the Zak's family to support Children’s Cancer Research Fund, a leading-edge research to eradicate sarcomas once and for all.
