Dear Friends, Family and loved ones-

If you are receiving this message l it means that you have touched me in some way during my lifetime and I am in need of LOVE and BLESSINGS AT THIS MOMENT. It is YOU that I am reaching out to and would like to bring your energy and connection back into my world as I need lots of support from all the people that have had an impact in my lifetime.

I am sending this invitation to my CaringBridge webpage as a way to have updates on my current medical condition. I will be having a big surgery for a congenital (born with) repair next Monday, January 8th. One of my dear friends/brothers, Kevin, that lives out here in Boulder, CO where I am - has helped me create this website to continue to post updates about my condition.

I currently have a medical condition that I was born with that was just discovered that is starting to affect my heart & lung functioning and if I do nothing - well nothing good will come of that. How rare is this? It is an extremely rare congenital defect in that only 15-20 adult/year in the US have it found and surgically repaired. My own was found by accident during a completely different examination. As all of you know, I'm a private person and I am not on FaceBook otherwise I would probably put this request and updates on there. This website is private and only available to those invited by me. My mailing address and other info will be available on this page. I'll be using it as a central point of communication during this time of healing and recuperation.

You are all special and have touched me in ways that you might or might not know in my life. Some of you I have not spoken to over long periods of time but this is the time that I really, really need your support in the universe to get me through this surgery.

What do I need - it can be anything from posting a message of blessings/wishes on this site, to visiting (hospital and/or at home afterwards), bringing a meal, if you are out of town - a donation towards a meal that friends will help prepare here.

I wish all of you a bright, healthy and sweet New Year for 2018. I personally am looking forward to hiking, biking and exercising outdoors in nature again with all my friends.
