Hi y'all!  Hoping to help Stef and Justin get all the updates in one place. So far this is what we know: The official diagnosis is triple-negative breast cancer, stage 2a. Triple-negative breast cancer is the kind that is not positive for estrogen receptors, progesterone receptors or HER2 protein. It’s the least common type of breast cancer. It is more aggressive. Treatment is equally aggressive. The “good” news is, chemotherapy is a super-formidable foe against triple-negative. So, here’s the plan for Stef: • Three months of chemo every week (on Fridays, but a scheduling error bumped this first one up to Thursday) • Then --&gt; chemo once every three weeks for three months • Then --&gt; surgery to take out what is left You all are a bunch of total humans and I love you and want to be just like you when I grow up.
